About Dr. Abhinandan Mukhopadhyay
Dr. Abhinandan completed his education and training at the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. With over 8 years of experience, he actively engaged in clinical care, research, and teaching during his tenure.
Specializing in various urologic issues, Dr. Abhinandan is adept at managing kidney stone disease, male sexual problems, infertility, diseases of the prostate, and conducting complex reconstructive procedures for urethral stricture and urological cancer surgeries. During his residency at PGI, Chandigarh, he participated in over 300 Robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgeries for Urological Cancers and complex reconstructive procedures.
After completing his superspecialty training, Dr. Abhinandan joined GGS Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot, Punjab, as faculty. He played a pivotal role in establishing the Department of Urology and was actively involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. He performed more than 600 major urological surgeries during his tenure.
Additionally, Dr. Abhinandan has served as a consultant urologist at Max Smart Superspeciality Hospital, Delhi, and Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram.
Dr. Abhinandan is deeply committed to academic pursuits and has presented numerous research papers in national and international conferences, along with publishing seven papers.
