Meet Dr. Ankur Bahl

Dr. Ankur Bahl is a highly skilled cancer specialist with over 15 years of extensive experience in the field. He graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, obtaining his MBBS followed by MD in Medicine. He further pursued DM in Medical Oncology from AIIMS, New Delhi, and completed a specialized course on Adverse Drug Reactions, Drug Interactions, and Pharmacovigilance at the University of Oxford, UK.

Dr. Bahl possesses clinical expertise in various treatment modalities, including Immunotherapy, targeted therapies in combination with Chemotherapy, Hormonal Therapy, and Supportive and Palliative Care. He is recognized as the lead author of significant research studies, including the largest real-world Indian data on targeted therapy (Cetuximab) in Head & Neck cancer, Acute Myeloid Leukemia Treatment, and Human Papilloma Virus trends in the Indian Population.

Moreover, Dr. Bahl is the lead founder of innovative oncology educational platforms and networks, both international and national, focusing on Evidence-based debates in oncology, Live Oncology Tumour boards, and Master Classes and workshops in oncology. He recently joined FMRI, Gurugram, from Max Hospital, Saket, where he held the position of Director-Medical Oncology and Haematology Oncology. Previously, he has also served prestigious organizations like Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre and Maulana Azad Medical College.
